Living with nature would best describe the goal set forth early on in this project. The value of living within the natural setting of the site while still having the program elements required by the project offered a unique challenge. This 1970 contemporary was completely transformed into a super modern, clean lined structure with the outdoor rooms to match. The outdoor pool, patio, and kitchenette were skillfully set at the terrace level which overlooks the meadow below. Native plantings were essential in transforming the original suburban landscape into an exquisite natural setting.
